What is Reflexology
Reflexology is a therapeutic method that uses precise pressure techniques on the feet, hands and ears to stimulate reflex points corresponding to every organ, gland and system in the body.
For women, reflexology is particularly powerful. The female body is deeply responsive to hormonal shifts — through your cycle, during pregnancy, along the fertility journey and into menopause. Reflexology works with your body's natural rhythms to restore balance, ease discomfort and support your overall wellbeing.

Why Reflexology
Reflexology supports the endocrine system, helping to regulate hormones and ease symptoms of PMS, irregular cycles, PCOS and thyroid imbalances.
By working specific reflex points linked to the reproductive system, reflexology can help bring regularity and ease to your cycle over time.
Reflexology reduces stress, supports hormonal balance and improves circulation to the reproductive organs — creating the ideal internal environment for conception.
Regular treatments can significantly ease hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings and sleep disturbance — supporting women through every stage of the menopause transition.
Reflexology activates the parasympathetic nervous system, shifting the body out of stress and into deep rest — bringing lasting calm to both body and mind.
Many women report significantly improved sleep quality after regular sessions — particularly those experiencing sleep disruption linked to hormonal changes or anxiety.
The Process
We begin with a brief consultation to understand your health history, current concerns and what you'd like to achieve from your session.
You relax fully clothed in a comfortable reclined position while precise pressure techniques are applied to the reflex points on your feet or hands.
After your session I'll share observations and aftercare advice. You may feel deeply relaxed — allow yourself time to rest and drink plenty of water.
For lasting results, a course of regular sessions is recommended. I'll work with you to create a personalised treatment plan that suits your needs.
"A woman's body holds extraordinary wisdom. Reflexology helps her listen to it."
Questions
You'll remain fully clothed throughout — only your feet will be uncovered. Wear something comfortable and loose-fitting, and avoid thick tights or compression socks if possible.
Reflexology should not be painful. You may notice some sensitivity in certain areas — this can indicate tension or congestion in the corresponding part of the body. Most clients find the experience deeply relaxing from start to finish.
For general relaxation, even a single session can make a real difference. For hormonal concerns — such as cycle irregularities, fertility support or menopause — a course of 6 sessions is recommended to achieve lasting, cumulative results.
Yes — pregnancy reflexology is a wonderful support throughout your pregnancy and is offered from 12 weeks onwards. Sessions are specifically adapted to be safe, gentle and deeply nurturing for expectant mothers.
Most clients leave feeling deeply relaxed — some describe a light, floaty feeling. You may notice improved energy over the following days. Drink plenty of water afterwards and rest if you can. Occasionally, clients experience a temporary increase in symptoms as the body begins to rebalance — this is normal and usually short-lived.
Some health insurers in Ireland do cover reflexology — it's worth checking with your provider. You'll receive a receipt after each session which you can submit for a claim.
Yes — free on-street parking is available on St Declan's Road. The full address will be sent to you in your booking confirmation.
